Marzano's Nine Strategies
#6. Cooperative Learning. Grouping students for cooperative learning activities can be a very
powerful instructional strategy. Informal, ad hoc groupings may last only a few minutes or an
entire class period. More formal groupings for cooperative learning may last a few days or
weeks, as defined by a unit of study.
